Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pound flank steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, smashed and roughly chopped
- 5 green onions, roughly chopped white and green parts
- ½ bunch of cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled, roughly diced
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1.5 Tbsp sesame oil
- Pinch of chili flakes
Instructions
- PREPARE all the marinade ingredients
- PUT meat and marinade in a container / bag. I love @rezip gallon size bags for marinating
- REMOVE as much air as possible, seal the bag
- MARINATE overnight
- REMOVE meat from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking
- PREHEAT grill over medium high heat
- GRILL approximately 5 minutes on the first side, 2-3 minutes on the second
- LET rest for 5 minutes, cut against the grain
- SPRINKLE with sesame seeds, green onions and enjoy!
